Following Jesus on a shoe and a bare foot

In many countries around the world, you pay a heavy price for following the Lord Jesus. Kazakhstan experienced a brief period of religious freedom after the fall of communism. Unfortunately, this also caused Islamic roots in the region to sprout again, with the result that Christians are finding it increasingly difficult to practice their faith.

In this episode, you will hear the story of Fatima, a Uyghur Muslim woman who came to faith through one of our staff members and soon discovered that choosing to follow Jesus can sometimes mean running from your house, holding next to nothing, escaping danger on a shoe and a bare foot.
